National Endowment for Democracy
NED is a private, non-profit organization created in 1983 to strengthen democratic institutions around the world through non-governmental efforts. The Endowment awards hundreds of grants each year to civic education, media, and human rights organizations, thereby providing support to thousands of people around the world who are striving to build democracy in their countries. Endowment programs in the areas of labor, business, and political party development are funded through four core institutes: the American Center for International Labor Solidarity, the Center for International Private Enterprise, the International Republican Institute, and the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs. NED supports activists on the cutting edge of democratic development in six regions: Africa, Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, the Middle East, and the New Independent States of the former Soviet Union.

Confederation of Indian Industry
The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) was established to help build a strong national economy in India that could be globally integrated. It represents and services over 3,700 companies in small, medium, and large industries, including both private-sector and government-owned corporations and utilities. CII is the umbrella organization for industry in India, and a repository of information and knowledge that covers all aspects of the relationship between government, Indian industry, and international business. It has evolved over the years from a specialized industry-focused organization into a broad association. CII's experience in organizing large international gatherings is unequaled in India.
